Remembrance Service in Sittard Netherland
Private Edward Steadman lost his life in WW2 and is buried in Sittard Cemetery in the Netherlands.
A service is held to remember in November in Sittard. The people from Sittard invited Edward Steadman’s daughter who still lives in Chatteris (Christine) along with her brother Gerald to join them in the commemoration.
These photographs show the ceremony. On the third photo Christine stands second from the left of the photo and the taller gentleman to her left is her brother.
